AGE CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION (As on 31st March)

Age Criteria for School Admission :- As per General Guidelines Class / Grade Minimum Age (as on 31st March of Admission Year) Maximum Age Nursery / Pre-KG 3 years 4 years LKG (Lower Kindergarten) 4 years 5 years UKG (Upper Kindergarten) 5 years 6 years Class 1 (Grade 1) 6 years 7 years Class 2 (Grade 2) 7 years 8 years Class 3 (Grade 3) 8 years 9 years Class 4 (Grade 4) 9 years 10 years Class 5 (Grade 5) 10 years 11 years Class 6 (Grade 6) 11 years 12 years Class 7 (Grade 7) 12 years 13 years Class 8 (Grade 8) 13 years 14 years Class 9 (Grade 9) 14 years 15 years Class 10 (Grade 10) 15 years 16 years Class 11 (Grade 11) 16 years 17 years Class 12 (Grade 12) 17 years 18 years Note: - Age criteria may slightly vary depending on the state or school board (e.g., CBSE, ICSE, State Boards). - Always confirm with the specific school’s admission policy or local education authority. - Cut-off date is generally 31st March of the admission year.

Registration and Admission :- 1.Age Eligibility A child must be between 3 to 4 years old on or before a specified date (usually March 31 or April 1 of the admission year). Parents must provide a valid birth certificate as proof of age. 2. Application Process Obtain and fill the nursery admission form from the school office or download it online. Submit the completed form along with required documents (birth certificate, proof of residence, passport-sized photos). 3. Registration Fee Pay the non-refundable registration/application fee while submitting the form. 4. Documents Required Birth certificate of the child Proof of residence (Aadhar card, utility bill, etc.) Passport size photos of the child Parent’s identity proof (optional in some schools) 5. Interaction/Playgroup Session Many schools conduct a simple interaction or playgroup session with the child to understand their readiness and comfort level. This is usually informal and friendly. 6.Seat Availability Nursery Admission.
